Epworth Apartments Donations
Hello Los Angeles District Family!
Greetings during this Christmas-tide season! On April , 20th, 2012 our district will provide a 19 unit apartment complex for transitioned aged youth who are homeless and referred by the Department of Mental Health. The Epworth Apartment Project is a great opportunity for our entire district to be in mission with the youth who are in need of housing. There will be many ways that you or your church can help provide a new start for each youth.
We would like you to share this information with your congregation and discuss ways that you are able to assist with the Epworth Apartments Project. Enclosed is a flier and form with options on ways that your church can give. This information may also be obtained from the LA District website. Also, a video presentation is available for you narrated by our District Superintendent, Cedrick Bridgeforth that may be used during your worship announcements or leadership meetings. We will also provide someone to come to your church to share more information with your congregation.
